Every player is expected to contribute to a safe, respectful, fair, and enjoyable environment. By joining a game through GameFndr, you agree to follow these Player Rules, the applicable venue rules, and reasonable instructions from the GameFndr team. 1. Respect Other Players Treat other players, GameFndr staff, referees, venue staff, and GameFndr representatives with respect. The following behavior is prohibited: • Harassment or bullying • Threats or intimidation • Discrimination or hate speech • Sexual harassment or inappropriate conduct • Fighting or physical aggression • Abusive, threatening, or excessively disruptive behavior 2. Play Fair and Safely Players must play fairly and follow the reasonable rules of the game and GameFndr. Do not intentionally injure another player or engage in reckless, violent, or dangerous conduct. Players are responsible for using reasonable care and judgment during games and activities. 3. Arrive on Time Players should arrive at the venue before the scheduled start time and be ready to play. Late arrival may affect your ability to participate, depending on GameFndr's rules, game rotation, and available slots. GameFndr is not responsible for missed playing time resulting from a player's late arrival. 4. No-Show and Cancellation When you reserve a paid slot, GameFndr and other players may rely on your attendance. Players should cancel as early as possible if they can no longer attend. Repeated no-shows, excessive last-minute cancellations, or booking abuse may result in: • Warnings • Loss of booking privileges • Temporary suspension • Permanent account restrictions Refund eligibility is governed by the GameFndr Return & Refund Policy. 5. Follow GameFndr Instructions Players must follow reasonable instructions relating to: • Court use • Game rotation • Team assignments • Playing time • Safety procedures • Game schedules • Venue requirements GameFndr may establish reasonable game-specific rules to help ensure the game runs smoothly and fairly. 6. Follow Venue Rules Players must follow the rules of the basketball court, sports facility, school, gym, condominium, or other venue where the game takes place. Players must not damage property or engage in conduct that may result in penalties, removal from the venue, or restrictions on future GameFndr activities. Any costs resulting from a player's intentional or negligent damage may be the responsibility of that player. 7. Alcohol and Drugs Players must not participate in a game while impaired by alcohol, illegal drugs, or any substance that creates a safety risk or violates applicable law or venue rules. GameFndr staff may refuse participation where a player appears impaired or poses a safety concern. 8. Weapons and Dangerous Items Weapons and dangerous items are not permitted at GameFndr activities where prohibited by applicable law or venue rules. Players must not bring or use any item in a manner that creates a safety risk to others. 9. Fraud and Booking Abuse Players must use accurate information and may not misuse the GameFndr platform. Prohibited activities include: • Creating fake or duplicate accounts to abuse the platform • Providing false information • Reserving slots without genuine intent to participate • Manipulating game availability or player slots • Using stolen or unauthorized payment information • Attempting fraudulent or unauthorized refunds • Reselling or transferring bookings without permission • Circumventing account restrictions or other GameFndr controls • Any other activity intended to deceive GameFndr, its staff, players, or payment providers 10. Photos, Videos, and Recording Players may be photographed or recorded by GameFndr, venues, or other participants during games or events. Players should respect the privacy of others and must not record, publish, or distribute content in a manner that constitutes harassment, exposes private information, or violates applicable law. If you do not want to appear in content shared publicly by GameFndr or a venue, you may contact GameFndr where appropriate. 11. Reporting Problems Players are encouraged to report serious issues to GameFndr, including: • Harassment or threats • Violence or dangerous conduct • Fraud or payment abuse • Unsafe conditions • Serious misconduct • Repeated booking abuse or no-shows • Other serious violations of these rules Support: contact.gamefndr@gmail.com When reporting an issue, provide relevant details such as the game, date, people involved, and supporting information if available. 12. Enforcement GameFndr may take appropriate action when these rules are violated. Depending on the circumstances and seriousness of the conduct, GameFndr may: • Issue a warning • Remove or restrict content • Cancel or restrict a booking • Restrict access to certain games or features • Suspend an account • Permanently terminate an account • Take other reasonable measures to protect the GameFndr community • Refer matters to appropriate authorities when required or appropriate GameFndr may consider the seriousness, frequency, and circumstances of a violation when determining appropriate action. 13. Emergency Situations If there is an immediate threat to someone's health or safety, contact the appropriate emergency services or venue personnel first. GameFndr support is not an emergency-response service and may not be able to respond immediately to urgent situations. 14. Player Responsibility Players are responsible for determining whether they are physically and otherwise able to participate safely in a game. By joining a game, players agree to follow applicable laws, venue rules, GameFndr instructions, and these Player Rules. 15. Agreement By creating an account, booking a game, or participating in a GameFndr activity, you agree to follow these Player Rules and help maintain a safe, respectful, and enjoyable sports community. GameFndr may update these rules from time to time. The latest version published on the GameFndr platform will apply to future use of the service.
